Building practical technical solutions through software, infrastructure, and analytics.

About Me
Hi! I'm Noah, a technologist who enjoys solving practical problems through software, data, and infrastructure. Whether I'm building a Python data pipeline, designing a network, writing embedded firmware, or analyzing transit data, I'm happiest when I can turn complex systems into solutions that are reliable, well documented, and easy to use.
My background spans data science, networking, software development, GIS, embedded systems, and digital forensics. I enjoy learning new technologies quickly and applying them wherever they'll have the biggest impact instead of staying confined to a single discipline.
I'm especially interested in projects that bridge the digital and physical worlds—using data to inform decisions, modernizing infrastructure, automating repetitive work, and designing systems that make people's jobs easier. I believe good engineering is as much about thoughtful design and clear documentation as it is about writing code.

Featured Projects
GTFS-RT Transit Operations Analytics
A data pipeline + analysis toolkit for real-time bus feeds (vehicle positions, trip updates), focused on operational insights and fleet planning.
Highlights
What I built
- ▹GTFS-RT ingestion + validation in Python
- ▹Headway / dwell / reliability feature engineering
- ▹Geospatial enrichment (route + stop context) for segment metrics
- ▹Reproducible notebooks + exportable reports/figures

Structured Home Network Retrofit
Modernized an aging residential network into a reliable, enterprise-inspired home-office infrastructure through structured cabling, Wi-Fi 6 deployment, and centralized network management.
Highlights
What I built
- ▹Installed structured cabling including PoE Wi-Fi access points
- ▹Enterprise Wi-Fi 6 deployment using Omada SDN
- ▹Designed and assembled a structured patch panel and server rack for centralized network management.
- ▹Produced detailed network documentation, labeling, and topology diagrams to support future maintenance.

MINDS: Inclusive Tech + Portfolio Platform
An open-source portfolio + project hub focused on practical systems/data work with inclusive design values.
Highlights
What I built
- ▹Standardized repos with templates (READMEs, issue/PR templates, contribution guidelines)
- ▹GitHub Pages / site infrastructure (routing, components, deployment)
- ▹Documentation-first approach (project writeups, roadmaps, reproducible demos)

Forensics Lab: Triage & Timeline Toolkit
A repeatable workflow for digital forensics practice: artifact triage, hashing/verification, and timeline-oriented analysis (expanding as coursework progresses).
Highlights
What I built
- ▹Hashing + integrity verification for evidence handling
- ▹Automated parsing of common artifacts (logs, browser/user activity)
- ▹Timeline construction + filtering for investigation narratives
- ▹Structured documentation templates (notes → report-ready)
